CNC Marine, a specialized company offering boat design plans and kits, enlisted my expertise to craft a T-shirt graphic for their online store, work attire, and promotional use. The challenge was to strike a balance between enjoyment and professionalism, catering to a diverse demographic, primarily males aged 30 to 65, and seamlessly merging the worlds of metal fabrication and boating lifestyles.

The resulting design showcases a vintage font encircled by an illustrative border. This border seamlessly merges nautical and welding imagery—reef knots transforming into welding cables, torches, and sparks gradually transitioning into the laid-back motifs of palm trees. This fusion of old and new imagery imparts an old-world charm with a modern twist.
